It's a question meme! Ask me things about Shin-Ah/Abi and Velvet/Silk and I will ask you stuff in return. Though stuff for Velvet will be mostly first impressions probably.
Especially after his memory, but honestly even before that, he thought Nathan was pretty cool and admirable and a good dad. Even if he was grumpy and intense sometimes. He seemed nice? And like he cared. Which is important. Also he feels really bad about what happened in the house, still, but it meant a lot that Nathan was willing to protect him. Even tho he was like kinda crazy at the time.
But after the memory he will be even more comfortable around him because he's so much like Ao, except like quieter and better socialized. And more mature, actually, because Ao was probably only his 20's when he died. Dragons don't live long. But he thinks Nathan's way of being parental is pretty legit. And it's also nice that he seems to understand about what it's like to have people be afraid and having to live with that. Like he was worried about the team rejecting him after that memory, so hearing Nathan basically say that "Humans get scared of things they don't understand, but you're still ok" was really reassuring.
So going forward he'll probably be more attached to him because he reminds him of someone important to him. And he'll be extra appreciative of any approval Nathan gives him because it's really nice to know someone you respect thinks you did good. He'll try to be extra helpful and good, okok.
